Ethnographical Museum

This family-run museum features a fascinating a collection of objects which gives an insight into the culture that produced them, and the human stories attached to them. It is also home to the family who run the museum.

Entire rooms are in situ as living examples of different periods of Cyprus history: a kitchen, a bedroom, a store room for hundreds of old tools – even a barber’s shop. Handmade jewellery, embroidery, weaving, carved dowry chests, and a significant coin collection all contribute to this marvellous and slightly eclectic living portfolio of treasures.
